2. Data we process

3. Purposes and legal bases

4. Required information

Name, email, phone, date, time, passenger count, vehicle and journey details are required to assess a request. We cannot process the request without them. Flight number and notes are optional. There is no automated decision-making or profiling.

5. Service providers and recipients

Vercel privacy · Resend privacy · Komoot privacy · WhatsApp privacy · SumUp privacy · Mollie privacy

6. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. They state that they use approved safeguards such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses where required. Their own privacy notices provide current details.

7. Retention

Booking and payment administration is normally retained for seven years where Dutch tax law requires it. Messages that do not lead to a booking are deleted when no longer needed, normally within 12 months. Vercel, Resend, Photon, WhatsApp, SumUp and Mollie apply the retention periods stated in their own policies. Private booking records are stored by Vercel to handle requests, approval, payment status, cancellation and refunds.

8. Cookies and local storage

The website does not use advertising cookies. When analytics is switched on, it sends anonymous usage events to PostHog, hosted in the EU: page views, which parts of a page were seen, clicks on booking, call, WhatsApp and email buttons, and booking-form progress such as the step reached, the chosen service, route, tours, vehicle, passenger count and fare, and whether a request, checkout or payment went through. These events never contain names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, flight numbers, booking notes or booking references. To link events, your browser stores a random anonymous visitor ID and a session ID in local storage. Each event also carries the page address without personal parameters, the referring website, campaign tags from the link you arrived through, screen size and browser details, and PostHog receives your IP address. No ID is created and nothing is sent when your browser signals Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. The site also stores your language choice in local storage. You can remove this data by clearing this site's data in your browser settings, which gives you a new anonymous ID. Analytics events are kept for as long as the site owner's PostHog project retains them; ask us to delete events linked to your ID.

9. Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or data portability where applicable. You can withdraw consent where processing depends on consent. Contact us by email. You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

10. Security and changes

We use HTTPS, limited server-side validation, request controls and restricted service access. No internet service is risk-free. We may update this notice when the service or law changes. The effective date above shows the latest revision.

11. Booking through an AI assistant

You can also request a ride through an AI assistant (for example ChatGPT or Claude) that connects to our booking system. The assistant sends us the same details as the booking form: your name, email address, phone number and ride details. We only pass the request on after you confirm it with the link we email you; requests that are not confirmed are deleted after two days. Through the assistant you can also check, change or cancel a booking, using the booking reference and your email address. What the assistant's provider does with your conversation is covered by that provider's privacy policy. When our booking system is used this way, we record anonymous usage counts in PostHog (EU): which function was used and whether it worked, without names, contact details, addresses or booking references.

12. Preventing abuse

To stop fake and abusive requests, we check that the domain of your email address can receive mail and that your phone number looks valid, we limit the number of requests per email address, phone number and network address, and we check whether a request from the website comes from a real browser (Vercel BotID). We can block an email address or phone number that was used for abusive requests. Blocked details are kept only as one-way coded values that cannot be read back, for at most two years.
