Privacy Policy

This notice explains how Jet Cab AMS processes personal data when you use this website or request a ride.

1. Controller and contact

Jet Cab AMS, Weesperstraat 53, 1018 VN Amsterdam, Netherlands. KvK 89919637. VAT NL004773800B83. Email: jetcab-ams@hotmail.com. Phone and WhatsApp: +31 6 4366 8078. Use the email address for privacy requests. Jet Cab AMS has not appointed a data protection officer because one is not required for this activity.

2. Data we process

• Contact data: name, email address, phone number and WhatsApp number.
• Booking data: service type, addresses, date, time, passenger count, vehicle, flight number, selected tours, requested add-ons and notes.
• Technical and security data: IP address, request metadata and server logs processed by our hosting provider to deliver and protect the service.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• To answer booking requests, prepare a quotation and provide the requested service. The legal basis is taking steps before a contract and performing a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
• To keep invoices and records required by tax and accounting law. The legal basis is a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).
• To prevent spam, fraud and technical abuse and to keep the website secure. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a reliable service (Article 6(1)(f)).

4. Required information

Name, email, phone, date, time, passenger count, vehicle and journey details are required to assess a request. We cannot process the request without them. Flight number and notes are optional. There is no automated decision-making or profiling.

5. Service providers and recipients

• Vercel hosts the website, stores private booking records and processes serverless booking requests and security logs.
• Resend delivers booking emails to Jet Cab AMS and to you.
• Photon, operated by Komoot, receives address text for suggestions and to let our server calculate a custom-ride fare before payment. The website shows OpenStreetMap attribution.
• WhatsApp and Meta process your message and contact data only when you choose the WhatsApp booking option.
• Mollie processes payment details when you pay the required booking deposit.
• Drivers or transport partners receive only the booking details needed to provide an accepted ride. We do not sell personal data.

6. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. They state that they use approved safeguards such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses where required. Their own privacy notices provide current details.

7. Retention

Booking and payment administration is normally retained for seven years where Dutch tax law requires it. Messages that do not lead to a booking are deleted when no longer needed, normally within 12 months. Vercel, Resend, Photon, WhatsApp and Mollie apply the retention periods stated in their own policies. Private booking records are stored by Vercel to handle requests, approval, payment status, cancellation and refunds.

8. Cookies and local storage

The website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It stores only your language choice in browser local storage. You can remove it through your browser settings.

9. Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or data portability where applicable. You can withdraw consent where processing depends on consent. Contact us by email. You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

10. Security and changes

We use HTTPS, limited server-side validation, request controls and restricted service access. No internet service is risk-free. We may update this notice when the service or law changes. The effective date above shows the latest revision.
